Here it is... We've succumbed to the Blogging Bug. Mainly because of some of our best buds, Roger & Holly. They've used their blog to update us on Roger's deployment, brain tumor adventures and much more. With our blog, we hope to keep you informed and hopefully entertained with our happenings here in Idaho.
We've been here, as a family, for 3 weeks now. Have we been busy! The girls started a new school, have each had field trips already, Carl had surgery to repair his detached bicep muscles and is on a long road to recovery, we've met most of the neighbors, gone furniture shopping, have been trying to get the yard up to par and are still trying to unpack in between. CRAZY!
I'll try to post at least once a week. Hopefully I'll be able to get some pictures going too. Check back once in a while to see what's happening...

Emily left on Monday night for Africa. We received our first e-mail from the team. They had a minor bagage issue (hope it wasn't Emily's!!) They were in Monrovia, Liberia, and were preparing for their 12 hr. bus ride to Zwedru here's a website I just found about it:

She called us when she was getting on the plane in Kenya for her last leg of the trip. She left on Monday at 9:30 and arrived Weds. @ 8:00am. It was actually like 20 hours total. Love your Blog!! It's great! Love you guys!!
